Seminars

The same training, in your church.

The courses Josh teaches to pastors overseas make outstanding weekend seminars for US congregations — and hosting one is a natural first step into mission partnership.

Why host a seminar

Every seminar teaches your people to read, understand, and apply a portion of Scripture on its own terms — the same hermeneutical training TLI brings to global pastors. Your congregation grows in handling the word, and meets the work of global pastoral training firsthand.

Seminars work well as a weekend conference, a Saturday intensive, a Sunday school series, or a retreat. Josh also speaks on sermons, missions, and biblical theology, and is glad to preach on a Sunday morning.

From the churches

What pastors say.

“Showing our people the exaltation of Jesus Christ as the cohesive storyline of both general and special revelation is a massive means of grace. Josh's seminars do this very thing in a way that is approachable, memorable, and theologically substantial.”

Chris Oswald
Pastor, Providence Community Church (Lenexa, KS)

A few words from Nate on the seminar's impact at his church will appear here soon.
